Setline DSC offers simple, effective measurements of temperature, heat and heat flow. It is designed for ease of use and maintenance, with a robust DSC sensor guaranteeing reliable, reproducible results. The unit is compact, suitable for all laboratories, and incorporates intuitive Calisto 2.0 software for data analysis. Setline DSC meets the needs of both quality control laboratories and training centers. It is used in the polymer and plastics, energy, chemical and food industries, as well as for training students in these sectors or in materials science, physics, chemistry or chemical engineering.
The basic package operating on mains power (230 V- 50/60 Hz) includes : - A robust furnace with a temperature range from -170 to 700°C, and a programming speed adjustable between 0.01 and 100°C/min. - A chromel-constantan DSC sensor that guarantees reliable measurements over a detection range of +/- 6000 mW. - A gas control system for both inert and oxidizing gases, with flow rates ranging from 10 to 100 ml/min. - Supplied with a set of 100 aluminum crucibles and lids, plus a crimping tool. - CALISTO software for control and data analysis. - Operating instructions are supplied on a USB key.
Depending on your application, it can be extended with measuring crucibles and cooling systems.
