MICROCALVET ULTRA CALORIMETER + CALISTO
MICROCALVET ULTRA offers ultra-sensitive and precise measurements of temperature, heat, heat flow and heat capacity, thanks to its 3D sensor employing the latest Peltier element technology. Its electrical calibration guarantees highly accurate results. Its easy-to-use heating and cooling system can reach temperatures ranging from -20 to 170°C. The unit is versatile, with interchangeable cells enabling experiments at high pressure (up to 400 bar) or under vacuum, as well as mixing tests with agitation. It can be coupled with a variety of equipment to extend research possibilities, particularly in the Life Sciences and polymers fields. Its sensitivity makes it possible to detect transitions in solutions of biomolecules, food products or polymers, even on the microwatt scale. Its removable, washable and interchangeable cells are particularly suitable for samples likely to form gels or solid particles during measurement.
The basic package includes :
- A calorimetric block operating over a temperature range from -20 to 170°C, with temperature programming adjustable from 0.001 to 1.2°C/min.
- A “3D” fluxmeter calorimetric sensor with 0.0015 µW resolution, and a water cooling circuit.
- A pair of 850 µl Hastelloy closed cells (reference S601528).
- The CS Evolution controller, with 32-bit microprocessor and 24-bit A/D converter, which manages the device via an Ethernet connection.
- CALISTO thermal analysis software, compatible with Windows, for analyzer control and data processing.
- Operating instructions on USB key.
