The Calvet LV calorimeter operates exclusively in isothermal mode, with very large sample volumes of up to 100 mL or the equivalent of two D-type batteries. Its 3D sensor, based on an array of thermocouples, features an excellent detection limit coupled with high accuracy in measuring heat and heat flow. The Calvet LV is particularly well suited to demanding experiments. Its interchangeable cells can be used for high-pressure or vacuum tests. It can measure heat under conditions ranging from ambient to 200°C. This calorimeter is ideal for applications such as characterizing batteries, building materials or studying the metabolism of small animals.
The basic package includes :
- A calorimeter block with a temperature range from ambient to 200°C.
- A Calvet-type calorimetric sensor with a resolution of 0.08 µW and a diameter suitable for 35mm cells.
- Two standard 93 ml stainless steel cells for measurements at normal pressure (S601224).
- CS Evolution controller with 32-bit microprocessor, 24-bit A/D converter and Ethernet connection.
- CALISTO Windows software to control the instrument and manage data acquisition and processing.
- User manual supplied on USB key.
Depending on your application, the package can be extended with appropriate measuring cells.
