The Microcalvet microcalorimeter enables highly sensitive and precise measurements of temperature, heat, heat flow and heat capacity. Its 3D sensor, based on Peltier elements and combined with electrical calibration, guarantees highly accurate results. It features an easy-to-use heating and cooling system, operating over a wide temperature range, including sub-ambient. Compatible with different types of interchangeable cells, it is suitable for a variety of experiments including mixing, reaction, high-pressure (up to 1000 bar) or vacuum. Its applications cover fields as diverse as the characterization of food materials, polymers, materials for heat storage or flow assurance studies in the oil and gas industry.
The basic package includes: - A calorimetric block operating over a temperature range from -45 to 120°C (the use of an auxiliary thermostat is recommended for temperatures below 0°C) and adjustable temperature programming from 0.001 to 2°C/min. - A “3D” heat flow sensor with 0.02 µW resolution, and a water-cooling circuit. - A pair of 850 µl Hastelloy closed cells (reference S601528). - The CS Evolution controller, with 32-bit microprocessor and 24-bit A/D converter, which manages the device via an Ethernet connection. - CALISTO thermal analysis software, compatible with Windows, for analyzer control and data processing. - Operating instructions on USB key.
It can be completed with cells adapted to your applications.
