Glass container for safety cell S6059312 and compatible with the former safety cell model S1000055 (no longer available for sale). Each container consists of 2 glass ampoules:
.A small upper ampoule, designed to hold a liquid sample, with a bottom designed to be easily broken using the safety cell's mixing rod.
.A lower ampoule, of larger size, designed to contain a solid or liquid sample, and to receive the upper ampoule by means of a simple insertion.
The assembly can be used to mix the two samples and/or to hold samples that are potentially reactive with the constituent material of the cell bodies.
